CMPE156: Network Programming

Methods and tools used for network programming. Topics include: operating system (OS) support for network protocols; inter-process communication (IPC) facilities, such as pipes, sockets, and remote procedure call (RPC); design of client and server sides of network applications; network security; and programming projects. Prerequisites: course 150/L and Computer Science 101. Concurrent enrollment in course 156L required.
