CMPS161L: Data Visualization Lab

Complements course 161. Students gain additional competence with a number of important software development tools and techniques. Included are Paraview, Visualization Toolkit (VTK), and Insight Toolkit (ITK). Students get hands-on experience with designing transfer functions, isosurfacing, direct volume rendering, vector-field visualization techniques, as well as methods for dealing with non-spatial data.
