CMPS42A: SDS:Survey of Applied Computational Science

A survey of interesting and important topics in the field of computer science. Students will learn to read and understand research papers. Topics include: Information Theory, Number Theory, Proofs and Problem Solving. This course will include programming assignments in C and Python. Prerequisite(s): CMPE 16, and at least one of the following: CMPS 12B; or CMPE 12; or CMPS 11
