EE255: Multiple-Antenna Wireless Communications

Basic theory of multiple-antenna wireless systems. Introduction to space-time propagation models, capacity of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels, space-time coding, transmitter CSI, and multiuser space-time systems. Includes discussion of multiple antennas in emerging systems and standards. Prerequisite(s): course 252 and Computer Engineering 107, or Applied Mathematics and Statistics 131, or equivalent.
