AMS260: Computational Fluid Dynamics

*****COURSES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE*****

This course introduces advanced graduate students to modern computational approaches to solving the differential equations that arise in fluid dynamics, particularly for problems involving discontinuities and shock waves. Fundamentals of the mathematical foundations and computational methods to obtain solutions will be examined. The course also focuses on writing practical numerical codes and analyzing their results for a full understanding fluid phenomena.
