Examines the modeling and analysis of hybrid dynamical systems, including the modeling of hybrid systems, the concept of solutions, Zeno behavior, equilibrium sets, stability, convergence, Lyapunov-based conditions, robustness, and simulation. Students are guided on methods for simulation and encouraged to apply them to several applications. Prerequisite(s): course 241. Enrollment restricted to graduate students.
