CMPS164, Spring 2014, Section 01: Unreal Level


Instructions:
For this assignment you will create a level in UnrealEd. Your level should at least meet the following requirements. You are encouraged to be creative in designing your level.

Your level should have the following properties:
1. It should be an Unreal Deathmatch level for 2 players
2. 2 Rooms with textured walls at different heights
3. 1 Hallway
4. 3 lights with different properties
5. 2 Playerstart actors
6. 4 Static Meshes
7. 2 triggers with events associated with them
8. 2 Movers (doors, lifts, etc.)
9. Level should be fully pathed
10. 2 weapon pickups
11. 2 ammo/armor pickups
12. 1 health pickup

For textures and any content, please use only the content available in the default UDK installation. If you use any external content then make sure your submission runs on a different machine that has a clean UDK install before submitting.

Here is the grading rubric:

Working level with two rooms and one hallway that runs in the game without errors - 30
Textured correctly - 5
Includes all the required elements - 55
- Movers (doors/lifts) - 15
- Lights - 10
- Static Meshes - 10
- Pathnodes - 10
- Pickups - 10
Creativity - 10


Submit a .zip file with the map file and packages for any additional content that you imported into the map.
