CMPS240, Spring 2013, Section 01: Lecture 5: Tuesday, April 16, 2013

We went over probability problems 1.1 and 1.2.

WE learned Bayes Rule:    P(H|E)= P(E|H)P(H) /P(E)   and saw videos. See Chapter 13.

Note that P(E) can be normalized by summing over all Hi.

We looked at the Lisp simulator. There is one bug (see code on sidebar menu!).

Chesstempo practice:

     Doublecheck    (Thm: king must move)

     Pinned Piece

     Hanging Piece

Fork are Double Attack is an important theme and is the basis of Game Theory.
