Home work policy

Submit your homework online at eCommons.

Late submission will not be accepted by the system.

Re-grading policy

After the grades are available, you have 1 week to request re-grading. After 1 week, the course staff may not be able to carry re-gradign out. Re-grading may result higher or lower grades

If you can not attend a lecture, please email the instructor before the class.

You will fail if missing more than 2 lectures.

Collaboration on Homework:

  • Homework should be done individually: each student must hand in their own answers. It is acceptable, however, for students to collaborate in figuring out answers and helping each other solve the problems. In that case, you must write down on each homework the names of  students with whom you collaborated. You can also use the forum to discuss.

Course project:
A project team should include 2-4 students. Single-person project is ok with the instructor’s permission.  Details will be provided later in the course. Teach project team will develop a real application (Facebook, Android, iPhone, etc.) based on system analysis and design. A Lab will be offered to help you start the project.
